Ahhhhh....

As busy as I am, I can hardly bring myself to work much on the weekends. I really didn't do much at all this weekend, I needed to relax! We went for a hike in the cedar forest, I did a Pilates video and lots of yoga, made some gemstone jewelry, and read a magazine (one of my new favorites) called Herbivore. I gotta start doing Pilates more frequently... I may start taking belly dancing lessons with two of my friends, although I'm a bit worried since I don't have much of a belly to dance with.

Among other things, one of my goals for this spring & summer is to revive unplug and start writing some articles for the next issue. This time I don't want to go it alone, I plan to have several talented friends contribute articles, photos, art, etc. I just have no idea when I can get it all together. But for now I am going to try to at least update the blog and get a cafepress store or something going with t-shirt designs.

Today is the first day of spring! It was a nice sunny day, a warmish 50 degrees. Of course, I just sat on my computer and opened my window, wishing I could be outside running through the woods. But it's not that warm yet. Spring is taking its time here. We had a pretty mild winter but it won't give up easily, there has been snow and/or hail the last few weeks, and it's been pretty cold. Even though I don't think I've had enough snowboarding for the season, I'm ready for spring. I can't wait until it's warm enough to sit out on the porch all day. If I gotta work I might as well take advantage of the laptop and the wireless and get me some sun!

This is going to be one hell of a weekend. My roommate, Moe, is in a performance called Dancers Drummers Dreamers and I think we're going to try to go Thursday night to see her dance. Friday I have lots of work to do and Moe's brother is playing a show at the coffee shop. Guess I better go to that since I designed the flyer for it. :) Saturday is the peace rally (I better go, I did make the posters!) and Sunday there's a Holistic Fair I want to check out. Of course, it is only Monday, but a girl's gotta have something to look forward to, right?

The first day of spring in Portland was GORGEOUS! But then the next two days it has been cloudy and rainy.... It taunts me...
