Either my plate is too small, or there's too much on it...

I'm feelin' a bit overwhelmed lately, what a weekend! I just took over the design of the Co-op's newsletter, and I get all the articles & such late in the month, so I basically only have a few days to get 'er done. It kinda sucks that the weekend I need to work on it, there is SO much stuff going on! I'm still finishing it, and it's taking a bit longer than expected since it's the first issue I've done (it's around 32 pages) and I'm redesigning a lot of it as I go along. I also need to get some logos designed for Hempfest so the committee can pick one for the posters & shirts. Of course, it's a very busy week at PETA as well, and I've got another Peace Coalition poster to start.

This weekend was very fun, even if it wasn't as productive as I wanted it to be. Here's a recap... Friday: started the newsletter, went to a BFA opening for the graduating seniors (I can't believe mine was a whole year ago!), took the pooch for a hike in the forest, and went to a friend's party. Saturday: went to the peace rally (I got a free shirt with my design, which turned out great, and there was a big turnout despite the rain), then went to Dancers Drummers Dreamers, which was an awesome show that my roommate Moe danced in. Then Moe's brother, Ocho, had a show at the coffee shop and we went to see him play. Sunday: worked on the newsletter a bunch and went to the Holistic Fair, which was an introduction to various holistic businesses in the area. I got a Cranial-Saacral massage from my friend Dominique, who is a very talented healer. I needed it!

Adding to the stress this weekend was our hunt for a diesel VW camper to convert to a greasecar. We found a beautiful one on e-bay and were planning on bidding (the auction ended Friday) since it was in Bend, OR. These are very rare because they only made diesels for about 3 years, but after lots of research we found out e-bay motors is quite shady, and the seller was being even more shady... he couldn't prove it had been inspected and had no documentation, and he wanted to charge us like $400 for his "time" if we got down there and drove it and found out it wasn't as good as he told us it was. What a dick! So, we decided not to bid on it, and hopefully another beautiful Westfalia (or Synchro) will come along soon. Keep your eyes out, we need a traveling home for the summer! :)

Ok, enough ranting, time to get back to work...

I see you took my front page post seriously and realized that "Comments are Good." Or else you're just bored. Hehe! I wish I could clean up the beach and camp, or live near a beach for that matter! Fun fun! :)
